PRIVACY POLICY

Longhorn Chassis (“Longhorn Chassis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds race cars, not data profiles. We collect only what we need to answer your questions, ship your parts, and keep you posted on what’s coming out of the shop. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

This policy applies to longhornchassis.com and any related pages, forms, or online stores we operate (the “Site”).

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us directly

  • Contact forms and inquiries. Name, email address, phone number, location, and whatever you tell us about your car, your program, or your order.
  • Email subscriptions. Email address, and optionally your name and interests, when you sign up for our newsletter, build updates, or product announcements.
  • Store accounts and orders. If you create an account or place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email, phone number, order history, and account login credentials.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Our processors provide us with limited transaction details (such as the last four digits of a card, card type, and authorization status).
  • Applications, submissions, and other correspondence. Including job applications, win submissions, warranty claims, media requests, and support tickets.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and general location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
  • Referring website or search terms
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5)

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries, quotes, and support requests
  • Process, fulfill, and ship orders, and provide order status and receipts
  • Create and manage your store account
  • Send newsletters, product announcements, event news, and marketing emails you’ve opted into
  • Prevent fraud, secure the Site, and enforce our terms
  • Analyze Site performance and improve our products, content, and customer experience
  • Comply with legal, tax, warranty, and recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share personal information only with parties that help us run the business, and only as needed. This may include:

  • Service providers — web hosting, e-commerce platform, payment processors, email marketing providers, analytics providers, shipping carriers, and customer support tools
  • Dealers, distributors, or authorized service partners, where necessary to fulfill an order or service request
  • Professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys
  • Legal and safety disclosures when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

4. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

If you subscribe to our email list, you’ll receive periodic messages about new products, builds, results, events, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us directly.

Transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping notices, account notices, and direct replies to your inquiries — are not marketing emails and may still be sent to you.

If you provide a phone number and opt into text messages, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out by replying STOP.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in and remember your cart
  • Remember your preferences
  • Measure traffic and understand how the Site is used
  • Support advertising and remarketing on third-party platforms, where applicable

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit certain features, including checkout and account functions. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

6. STORE ACCOUNTS

If you create an account on the Site, you’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. You can log in at any time to view or update your account details, addresses, and order history, or contact us to request that your account be closed. We may retain certain order and transaction records after account closure as required for tax, warranty, and legal purposes.

7. DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — including fulfilling orders, honoring warranties, resolving disputes, and meeting legal and accounting requirements — and then delete or de-identify it.

8. SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections on pages where sensitive data is submitted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may link to third-party websites, social platforms, sponsors, dealers, or sanctioning bodies. We aren’t responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
